Lucas Piazon has been on the books of Chelsea since 2011, but so far he has managed to feature in just one Premier League match for the Blues.
The Brazilian youngster was on loan at Vitesse last season and had an impressive campaign on a personal level.
The 20-year-old attacking player scored 11 goals in 29 Eredivisie appearances for the Arnhem-based club, helping them to a sixth-place finish in the Dutch top flight.
Many expected Piazon to be given a first-team chance by manager Jose Mourinho this season, but he has been sent out on loan again, this time to German club Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Brazilian will play for the Bundesliga outfit for the 2014-15 campaign, and he appears to be bonding well with his new teammates as he posted the following picture on Instagram with the message: ‘Dia longo con mis hermanos. Long day with my brothers’.
Frankfurt are currently on a pre-season tour in Italy, as they prepare for the 2014-15 Bundesliga campaign.
Last season, the Eagles ended up 13th in the league table, but Piazon will certainly hope to lead them to a top-half finish this term.
