Ubisoft have officially announced Assassin's Creed Rogue, read more about it and watch the official trailer over here.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue appeared on a Swiss games retailer’s website a few days ago, and was swiftly removed. Now some leaked trailer footage for the game has appeared online which details an 11th November 2014 release date.
You can watch the trailer below, which has been captured from a screen using a smartphone by the look of it. The audio is terrible and you can’t really make out any speech or sound, but the image quality is reasonable enough. In the footage you’ll see someone dressed in assassin garb walking through the darkness carrying a Templar sword along cobbled streets, then over grass, and finally on snow and ice until he comes across a seemingly injured assassin.
The images above are screenshots from the leaked video and show possible pre-order bonuses for the game.
I initially speculated that the ‘Rogue’ part of the title could be a reference to the recently revealed female Templar, Elise in the current gen Assassin’s Creed Unity, but going by this trailer it doesn’t appear she is there at all. The game is said to be seeing a release for PS3 and Xbox 360.
We’ll update you further if Ubisoft release an official statement about the game.
