We know the setting, we know the year, we know the character, but what about the actual size of the area we’ll be free-running around? Well, one Redditor has posted up the cloth map supposedly from the game for us to gawk at.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is set in Paris on the eve of the French Revolution, and in the image below we can see the cloth map allegedly sent to collaborators of the series. The scale is certainly impressive.
Another Redditor then took to comparing the AC: Unity cloth map with a real map of Paris close to the same timeframe. And you can see that they’re almost identical. Thanks, CVG.
The Paris setting in Unity is said to be the largest city the developers have ever created in an Assassin’s Creed game.
Assassin’s Creed Unity is due for release on 28th October 2014 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The AC: Unity map looks huge. Is the size of the game's world important to you?
