Spurs reportedly considering double swoop for Liverpool and Arsenal targets

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping to secure the signings of Wilfried Bony and Morgan Schneiderlin and will spend £45million to secure their transfer targets.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping to continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season by signing both Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton and Swansea's Wilfried Bony despite interest from Arsenal and Liverpool respectively.

Schneiderlin has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs this summer and despite Southampton's suggestions that the player will not be allowed to leave, Tottenham will go back with another offer after their first bid was rejected.

The Daily Mirror have reported that the Lilywhites will offer £20million for the French midfielder who is thought to be keen on a switch to Spurs to work with Mauricio Pochettino again, though the Saints value the 24-year-old at £27 million.

Arsenal have also shown an interest in the Frenchman although Arsene Wenger has denied the club have made an approach, and a move to Spurs is looking increasingly likely.

Wilfried Bony is also being targeted by Tottenham, despite interest from Liverpool and Spurs hope that an offer of around £25 million will be "the astronomical offer" that Swansea manager Garry Monk revealed would be required.

The Lilywhites have already signed two Swans players in Ben Davies and Michel Vorm and a move for Bony would undoubtedly boost their strike-force ahead of the new campaign.

The Ivorian forward scored 35 goals in 48 appearances for the Swans in all competitions last time out and would compete with Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado for a starting role under Pochettino if he were to make the switch to north London.
