La Liga transfer latest: Deportivo continue to pursue Liverpool and Man City youngsters

Real Madrid's transfer dealings have continued tonight, with Costa Rican World Cup star Keylor Navas penning a six-year deal at the Bernabeu. The club have already snapped up £80m pair Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez from Bayern Munich and Monaco respectively, and now goalkeeper Navas has arrived to compete with Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez, as the club confirmed on Twitter this evening.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's pursuit of a new left back, with Sevilla's Alberto Moreno remaining the club's primary target. The 22-year-old has been a star player for Sevilla for the past 18 months having progressed through the club's youth setup, and the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid have both been linked with moves for the youngster.

However, Liverpool are on the verge of pushing through a deal for Moreno, with a delegation from Anfield over in Spain in order to complete the transfer, with Atletico Madrid's right back Javi Manquillo also believed to be on the agenda for the Reds in the coming days.

Finally, Deportivo have achieved promotion back to La Liga, and the club need to strengthen their squad in order to survive this season. Liverpool centre back Tiago Ilori and Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zuculini are both believed to be loan targets for the club, and both Premier League sides will surely want their young players to continue to develop.
