Tottenham's hammering of the Scottish champions naturally created plenty of optimism amongst supporters.
It appears that things are looking promising for Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino's stewardship, after the club put in a superb offensive during their penultimate pre season friendly in Finland.
The North Londoners would surely have caught the eye with a superb 6-1 win over Celtic in Helsinki.
Though there were plenty of young players turning out for the Scottish champs, the opportunity to dominate another side in a proper game will almost certainly have been a lesson to the many Spurs players that if they implement such a style of football they will dominate teams, and they will also score a hatful of goals.
Tottenham's free flowing attack saw them score six times with every goal coming from a different source. Harry Kane, Roberto Soldado and Lewis Holtby netted in the first half, while wholesale changes didn't stop those goals from coming in the second half, where Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Emmanuel Adebayor also got involved on the action.
The variety and eagerness of players to make a positive impression will surely have pleased the club's new Argentine Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino, as it certainly pleased the many watching Spurs plans as evidenced by the delighted comments coming from Twitter after the game.

If Townsend can adapt well to a left wing role & just run at players, pass & cross he'll become a very strong player for Spurs! #COYS— Joe Beecham (@JoeBeecham) August 2, 2014
