A few days ago we were given the full lowdown of what games Xbox Live Gold members can pick up for free in August. Well, today being 1st August means you can download your first free games on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
For Xbox 360 you can download Motocross Madness up until 16th August when Dishonored, the second free game, becomes available.
Motocross Madness is an Xbox Live Arcade title that uses your Xbox Live avatar to ride a motocross bike across a bunch of large offroad tracks. The game features offline single and two player, plus you can race online with up to seven other players and compare scores on the leaderboards.
For Xbox One you can download a couple of third-person flight shooters in the form of Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut.
Crimson Dragon is a rail shooter, and spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon series. Set on the planet Draco, a world humans have only recently come to inhabit, you must take flight on your trusty dragons to save what’s left of the human race. Your Dragons can be levelled up and upgraded using food earned from missions, which will evolve and alter your dragons' skills. Online co-op is available to for up to three players too. Take a look at the trailer below.
Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut, whilst kind of similar to Crimson Dragon in perspective only, isn’t on rails and you don’t ride dragons. It’s in space and you pilot a Strike Suit – it’s basically space armour that lets you switch between a traditional-style fighter and a mech. As you progress through the game you’ll be able to upgrade and unlock new weapons, and also pilot different types of craft too. Check out the trailer below.
Like I said above, Dishonored will be available for Xbox 360 owners on 16th August, so before then why not watch this video to see the kind of deadly feats you'll be performing.
