Liverpool stars took the chance to pose with Daniel Craig following their friendly win against Manchester City last night.
Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was fortunate enough to meet none other than James Bond himself following the Reds’ friendly win against Manchester City.
Daniel Craig was present at the game in New York and was invited into the Liverpool dressing room after the game to meet some of the club’s first team stars.
Gerrard wasted no time in pouncing for a photo with the Hollywood A-lister, before posting the image on Instagram and bragging about having a snap with the latest actor to play 007.
Liverpool battled well during the game against City, coming from behind twice with Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling grabbing the equalisers before the Reds won the penalty shoot out 3-1.
While the result isn’t hugely significant, it’s an early blow for Liverpool in the many battles they are likely to have against Manchester City over the next 12 months.
Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho was among the other Liverpool stars to grab a quick picture with Craig following the game.
