All the latest summer transfer news from League One...

Barnsley are looking to bounce back to the Championship at the first time of asking, but have already lost the likes of goalkeeper Luke Steele and striker Chris O'Grady, as well as left back Tom Kennedy. Now, manager Danny Wilson has brought in two defenders to replenish his backline - and they both have experience with Manchester United. Centre back Reece Brown has joined from Watford, whilst left back Joe Dudgeon has arrived on loan from Hull City.

"I'm delighted that I have been given this opportunity," said Dudgeon. "With the month loan, I'll hopefully get five or six games in which will be great for my legs and hopefully I'll be able to bring something to the squad."

Elsewhere, Leyton Orient's spending continues after the take over from Francesco Becchetti. Manager Russell Slade has already snapped up goalkeeper Gary Woods, left back Shane Lowry, midfielder Bradley Pritchard and winger Jobi McAnuff, and now former Arsenal reserve team striker Jay Simpson has arrived at the Matchroom Stadium after a spell in Thailand with Buriram United.

"I'm delighted. It's a club that is going places and I want to be a part of it," said Simpson, who returns to London with Orient.

Finally, newly promoted Fleetwood Town are still looking to improve their squad under Graham Alexander, and whilst a bid to sign Crystal Palace playmaker Stephen Dobbie is still ongoing, another former Blackpool player is being linked with a return to the Fylde coast.

Left back Stephen Crainey was released by Wigan Athletic at the end of last season, and Alexander is reportedly pondering a move to sign the 33-year-old.
