Arsenal superstar midfielder has been spotted post workout after a training session during the club's pre-season tour of Austria.
Arsenal have returned one win and one loss in their pre-season record to date having overseen Boreham Wood 2-0 with goals from Kris Olsson and Benik Afobe, seemingly offset after a 1-0 blip against a fit New York Red Bulls team inspired by Thierry Henry.
Currently training out of their Bad Waltersdorf training base in Austria, the Gunners are now gearing toward their annual Emirates Cup friendly tournament, with fixtures against Benfica on Saturday and AS Monaco awaiting them.
The weekend will be Arsene Wenger's last opportunity to give his current roster a run-out before the curtain-raising match of the season - a Community Shield clash that pits the FA Cup winning North Londoners against Premier League champions Manchester City - on Sunday week.
One player who could be key throughout the coming campaign is influential box-to-box midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The 23-year-old was prolific in the tackle (77 attempts from 20 Premier League starts), attempted 65 passes on a per game average, created 32 goal-scoring opportunities (eight assists) and scored ten goals from 50 shots.
Posing for club photographer Stuart MacFarlane, Ramsey (above right) took time out after the Austrian training session to brave an ice bath - and the Welshman will need to keep his cool if he is to replicate his goal-scoring feats this season.
