Time to write a new chapter..... pic.twitter.com/1XNjbYXsl4— R.Lukaku Bolingoli (@RomeluLukaku9) July 30, 2014
Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has spent the last two seasons on loan - first at West Bromwich Albion and then at Everton - and it seems he could be about to enjoy another new start following a cryptic message that he posted on both his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
"Time for a new chapter," the Belgian striker wrote, along with a picture of a him onboard a plane.
So could he finally be about to leave Stamford Bridge permanently? That is certainly an option, with a number of clubs linked with the 21-year-old in recent times, including former loan side Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as sides in Spain and Germany.
Some feel Lukaku should have been given more chances at Chelsea, but with the arrival of Diego Costa and return of Didier Drogba, the young player would be unlikely to get as much game-time as his talent deserves.
Only time will tell what the player meant by his latest message, but it appears he could be set for something - and possible somewhere - new.
