Seydou Keita throws bottle at Pepe's head before 'friendly' match

Former Barcelona player Seydou Keita made sure Pepe knew he still wasn't his favourite person on earth before Roma's game with Real Madrid.

Seydou Keita and Pepe had some unsavoury meetings in El Clasico's in the past and it is clear that all is not forgotten despite Keita having moved on from Spain.

In America along with Inter Milan and Manchester United, Keita's new side Roma are currently involved in a pre-season tournament with Real Madrid and the two teams came face to face on Tuesday night. When the pre-match handshakes took place Keita decided he would blank Pepe and then it all kicked off with Keita eventually throwing a water bottle at the Portuguese defender's head.

The incident relates back to when Keita accused Pepe of using a racial slur against him during an El Clasico game however Pepe's Real Madrid teammates were clearly not happy with Keita's actions. Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso ran towards the midfielder to try and calm him down whilst Ashley Cole also tried to diffuse the situation.

So much for a friendly, eventually the match was won by Roma thanks to a solitary goal from Francesco Totti.
