The future of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has been up in the air recently - as reports suggested he was Real Madrid's latest transfer target. It then emerged that VfL Wolfsburg were hoping to get him.
The likes of Monaco, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have all also been mentioned - but plucky outsiders Everton appeared to have been forgotten.
That was until this week. Roberto Martinez confirmed to a fan in Thailand that the club were still after the Belgian this week, and he appeared confident of getting the striker.
Lukaku, who is due back in training with Chelsea this afternoon, posted a cyptic message on his social media accounts earlier today - suggesting that he was about to embark on a 'new chapter'.
And it now appears that chapter will be as a permanent Everton player.
Reliable Belgian journalist, Kristoff Terreur, who works as Sky's Belgian expert, has announced on Twitter this afternoon that Lukaku is signing for Everton on a five-year deal.

The striker, who spent last season at Goodison Park scoring 16 goals in 33 appearances, is reportedly a full-blooded Toffee - although rumours of a £30 million transfer fee reported this morning must surely be off the mark for a club like Everton.
The fee is instead rumoured to be around £25 million.
