One of Arsenal's summer signings has quickly found friends at his new club as the club begin the Austria hub of their pre-season tour.
When it became apparent that Bacary Sagna was not going to extend the terms on his expiring Arsenal contract, an established right back became a mandatory signing in the summer market for Arsene Wenger.
While there were a number of options available in the transfer window, including Cote d'Ivoire defender Serge Aurier who excelled at the recent World Cup tournament in Brazil, Wenger pushed for Mathieu Debuchy and, judging from the photographs that have been made available from the club's pre-season tour of Austria, it may become apparent why.
Debuchy, who has been capped 25 times for France, has already uploaded pictures to his social media account showing him with his compatriots at Arsenal - and now even more have been snapped by the club's official photographer.
In the picture at the top, Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud sandwich Debuchy during a light-hearted moment while the French connection are all business in the second shot as they begin work on the training ground.
Led by fitness coach Marcus Svensson (seen in yellow), the trio warm-up for an intense session at the club's base in Bad Waltersdorf, Austria.
Arsenal are preparing for their involvement in the annual Emirates Cup friendly competition, which begins this weekend.
