Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is happy to stay at the Serie A champions according to the club's coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Vidal has been linked with a move away from Italy, with Manchester United said to have been keen on a big money move for the Chilean star.
But if Allegri's words are anything to go by, the 27-year-old will remain with Juventus for the coming season despite the interest of United. Liverpool have also been linked with a move for the midfielder.
Allegri is quoted, saying: "Vidal will stay here and he's very happy about this.
"I spoke with him about his fitness, we're happy he will stay with us."
There were reports suggesting that Vidal had a verbal agreement to leave Juventus for Old Trafford, which would have made a big statement to the rest of the Premier League.
The rumours surrounding Vidal's future have seemingly been running for much of the summer, and even these quotes from the Juventus boss may not put an end to them.
United seem to be keen on strengthening their midfield even after the acquisition of Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao, as new manager Louis van Gaal has been told he has money to spend in the transfer market to bring in the players required to return the club to the summit of English football.
