Costa Rica World Cup star Joel Campbell is about to get up and running as an Arsenal player.
The 22-year-old signed for the Gunners in 2011, but has spent three seasons on loan at Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos.
After shining for the Greek champions and impressing at the World Cup just last month, he is now finally being given an opportunity to stake his claim to stay at The Emirates this season.
Campbell returned to North London over the weekend while the squad was in New York, but has now linked up with the rest of the players for their pre-season training camp in Austria.
He uploaded a photo to his Twitter account alongside new teammates Nacho Monreal, Santi Cazorla and Mikel Arteta.
Campbell is expected to make his Gunners debut at the weekend in The Emirates Cup, and after his hard work over the past three years - he will be determined to make the most of it and not let the opportunity pass him by.
Will Arsene Wenger give Joel Campbell a fair chance?
