The Italian international went up against his former side Manchester City in a friendly on Sunday.
AC Milan and former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli was mobbed by two pitch invaders during a friendly on Sunday, with the fans wanting a ‘selfie’ with the fiery Italian.
City demolished Milan 5-1 in a game that saw Balotelli relatively anonymous, with his highlight coming when he was approached by two supporters who had made their way onto the field.
And in typical Balotelli fashion, he did, of course, playing along with the incident to have the ‘selfie’ taken. The 23-year-old posed in style, folding his arms and smiling for his eager fans.
Balotelli has been linked with a move away from AC this summer, with Arsenal again being touted as a potential destination for the controversial forward. It had been rumoured that Balotelli would go to the Emirates, with the possibility of Joel Campbell heading to the San Siro as part of the deal.
The striker recorded just under a goal every two games in Serie A last season, but his lively character has once again been rumoured as the source of a move away.
Flamboyant behaviour at Manchester City saw his time at the Etihad come to an end in 2012.
Despite apparent interest from clubs to see him return to the Premier League, recent reports have now declared it likely that Balotelli will opt to stay in Milan.
