Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott were just two Gunners to of many Gunners to welcome Southampton academy graduate to the club.
As has been tradition with the Gunners, a first-team core have welcomed the 19-year-old novice to the club and have used social media as the platform to do so.
Theo Walcott - who will need to strike a productive relationship with the player down the right-hand flank - wrote on his Instagram account: "Great to meet Calum Chambers - I'm looking forward to working with him."
The English attacker was not the only Gunner in on the act, though, as left back Kieran Gibbs, versatile midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and box-to-box midfielder Aaron Ramsey all joined in on Twitter.
Perhaps most humorously, Oxlade-Chamberlain insisted he may need to take his near namesake Chambers "to court" over nickname copyright violation (most probably over N5 ownership of the moniker - 'Chambo').
Chambers, meanwhile, said on the club's official website that he was looking forward to following in the footsteps of other players to progress from the Saints to Arsenal.
He said: "The manager has a fantastic history of bringing young players through and nurturing them - and especially from Southampton, as you have seen Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott!
"I would just like to have the opportunity to follow in their path and be as successful as them."
