If Real Madrid fail to land Radamel Falcao this summer they will instead go for Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.

For all of Real Madrid's spending this summer - which has been a lot - they are still lacking in one area of the pitch.
While the thought of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale supporting Karim Benzema up top is truly frightening, they have no real replacements should Benzema need a rest or pick up an injury.
With the sale of Alvaro Morata that number reduced again. Jese Rodriguez is a top talent for the future, but it still on the comeback trail from knee surgery himself - so what options do Real Madrid have.
Well according to the Spanish press this morning they have two. Diario AS are reporting that the main target for Real is Colombia hitman Radamel Falcao. The former Atletico goal-machine is said to be disillusioned with life at AS Monaco after an injury ravaged first season.
The reports claim Real want to bring in the superstar on loan for the season. It is also reported that they are willing to splash out a big loan fee for the player - believed to be in the region of €12.5 million.
It is all over their back page this morning, but you will also recognise the player adjacent as Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
That is because the paper has reason to believe that should a move for Falcao fail, Chelsea striker Lukaku will be next on their list.
Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of the Belgian whose future at Chelsea is in serious doubt. He spent the last two seasons out on loan and despite seeing Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o leave competition for first-team places has still grown at Stamford Bridge - with Diego Costa and Didier Drogba both signing.
The report believes that if they fail in their ambitious loan bid for Falcao they will splash out €30 million for the signature of Chelsea's outcast Belgian youngster.
A move Lukaku, and Chelsea, would probably snap up.
