Talion will be unleashing all hell a week early to avoid the October rush
Warner Bros have brought the release date for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor forward by a week to land on September 30th in North America and October 3rd in the UK.
Shadow of Mordor follows Aragorn-a-like Talion in a story falling somewhere between the events of the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. In a Similar way to Bound by Flame Talion shares his body with a “mysterious spirit” that conveniently, like Talion, has a score to settle with Sauron.
Of particular note for gamers getting Shadow of Mordor on PS4 and Xbox One is the Nemesis AI system (something that will be scaled down on PS3 and xbox 360) in which the characteristics of your enemies will change depending on how you interact with them.
With October looking like a very busy month for games it makes sense to avoid the competition. We reported earlier this week that Dragon Age: Inquisition has been moved back to November which although an annoyance for those eager to get the game will set it apart (Dragon Age: Inquisition was also due to launch on October 7th)
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be releasing for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One
