Lewis Hamilton topped the second practice session ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, beating team-mate Nico Rosberg by just over two tenths of a second.

The Mercedes boys were again well ahead of the chasing pack, with third-placed Sebastian Vettel more than half a second shy of Hamilton in his Red Bull. Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) was fourth, 0.955s shy of top spot, with Kevin Magnussen again showing impressive pace to finish fifth for McLaren.

The remainder of the top-10 was largely as expected. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen slipped back having run well in the morning, ending the session sixth, ahead of Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) and recent star performer Valtteri Bottas (Williams).

Veterans Jenson Button (McLaren) and Felipe Massa (Williams) completed the top-10.
