The developers hit Twitter with a tantalising Bioshock tease.
We may be getting treated to a new Bioshock game if a recent tweet from 2K UK is anything to go by. Showing savvy for internet gaming teases the image below has been posted on 2K’s Twitter page along with the message, “Oooo, what COULD this mean?!"
The image appears to be of a poster for the Eve’s Garden club taken from the first Bioshock game. The Slogan ‘Come bite the apple’ alluding to the biblical genesis story of Adam and Eve.
Other than this there’s nothing more to go on at the moment.
In February we heard about the surprise closure of Irrational Games, the developers behind the first and last Bioshock titles. The concluding chapter in the story of Booker and Elizabeth followed in March with Bioshock Infinite DLC Burial at Sea Episode 2.
Since then it’s been stated by Bioshock creator Ken Levine that a long-awaited Vita Bioshock game wasn’t looking likely as 2K and Sony couldn’t put a deal together.
What do you make of the tease? Could this be referring to a Vita version? Or are 2K joining in on the ‘remastered for 8th gen’ game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
