Chelsea have continued their trend of sending top young talent out on loan to Europe this summer - with Brazilian Lucas Piazon the latest to commit to a temporary future away from Stamford Bridge.
The young talent has had a difficult 2014, struggling for form and losing his place at previous loan club Vitesse Arnhem but before that he was in great form - and registered impressive figures for the club last term.
The Brazilian youth international also spent time on loan at Malaga on a loan spell - making this his third experience away from the club. This time the recipients are Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bunesliga club have been chasing him for a number of weeks and today got their man. Sporting director Bruno Hubner said of the deal:
"We are glad that we were able to reach an agreement after lengthy but very fair negotiations with Chelsea and Piazon will strengthen us in the coming season..."
Piazon himself has also declared himself pleased with the move. He shared the picture of himself signing on the dotted line via his official Twitter account - demonstrating his commitment to what is a one-year loan deal, whilst any transfer agreements after the loan have not been disclosed.
Chelsea fans will wish him well, and hope he returns a much more rounded footballer.
