Arsenal transfer news: Casillas 'agreement' and Campbell wanted

All the latest news and gossip from The Emirates this morning.

Arsenal are being linked with a move for Brazilian forward Douglas Costa. The talented attacker is also being chased by the likes of AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur according to reports in Italy.

He was one of six players in the Shakhtar Donetsk squad who refused to fly back to Ukraine for the upcoming season due to the growing violence in the city as part of the Ukrainian-Russian political dispute.

Costa is however believed to not be for sale despite his current stance - although a deal could reportedly go ahead for a fee in the region of £20 million.

AC Milan are still believed to be in the chase for Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell. The talented attacker, who is coming off the back of an impressive showing at this summer's World Cup, is believed to want first-team football at The Emirates next season - however Arsene Wenger will not be able to assure him of such stature.

Sunderland are also keen.

Reports yesterday suggested that Arsenal were on the verge of signing David Ospina from Nice - but now the Colombian may be on the back-burner, according to reports in Spain.

It is being reported this morning that Arsenal have agreed a contract with Spanish international goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

The Real Madrid legend is about to become third-choice at the Bernabeu - with Diego Lopez already ahead of him in the pecking order and Costa Rican Keylor Navas reportedly on the verge of signing.

Arsenal are believed to have offered him a five-year deal worth £100k-a-week. Now it remains to be seen if he can convince Real Madrid to terminate his contract.
