All the latest news and gossip from the past 24 hours at The Emirates Stadium.

While reports in Spain this morning suggested that Iker Casillas was Arsenal bound it now looks as though, as originally believed, Colombian international goalkeeper David Ospina will be the goalkeeper signed to challenge Wojciech Szczesny for the number one goalkeeper spot at The Emirates.

It comes as his current club Nice have made a move to sign Algeria's eye-catching goalkeeper Rais M'Bolhi. The Desert Foxes stopper had an excellent World Cup in Brazil and has joined Nice from Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia.

With that in mind Ospina is now set to join The Gunners on a £3 million deal this summer - with it potentially reaching completion by the end of the weekend.

Serge Aurier, who was the subject of a bid fro Arsenal this summer, has finalised a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal gave up on the player when it became clear they had a chance of signing Mathieu Debuchy - whose Premier League experience gave him the edge.

Aurier has joined PSG on loan for a season, with the option to move permanently should the deal be successful.

Thomas Eisfeld has revealed the reasons why he decided to leave the club this summer - after completing a move to Fulham yesterday.

The German youngster has admitted that he made the move in order to chase regular first-team football:

“This is a new chapter for me. I didn’t play a lot of senior football at Arsenal, but now is my time. This is the right move for me, and I’m looking forward to developing my game at Fulham. Felix Magath is a fantastic manager and there are some really good players in the squad. I just can’t wait to pull on the shirt for the first time. What I can promise the fans is that I will always give my best for the club.”

Arsenal have taken 15-year-old Finnish youngster Felix Ferahyan on trial. The stopper, who has dual Armenian-Finnish nationality, would join his countryman Hugo Keto on the Arsenal books.
