Juventus have resisted pressure to sell midfield star Arturo Vidal, but they could be close to receiving an offer they can't refuse.
Chilean international Vidal was pivotal in the Juventus midfield during last season's Serie A title procession and his efforts were noted by a number of top European clubs.
Over the last few weeks Manchester United appear to have decided to make Vidal their priority for the summer market and they could be about to get their man.
But Manchester United have reportedly upped the amount they would be willing to offer to just under £35 million plus bonuses.
It is reported that Juventus director Beppe Marotta is set to meet Vidal's agent, Fernando Felicevich, today.
Felicevich is said to be acting as an intermediary, trying to get the two clubs closer to an agreement so that a move can take place.
It appears that the momentum is building and Juventus may not be able to resist for much longer.
Reports in Italy that Vidal has already put his house up for sale have led many to believe that the move is a matter of when rather than if.
