Liverpool legend stopped by on the club's pre-season tour.
Former Liverpool player and manager Kenny Dalglish put in a guest appearance during the club's pre-season.
The club legend stopped to spend time with fans and players at Harvard University, where the players are training ahead of their match with Roma on Thursday.
Dalglish appeared to have special wisdom to impart to the club's new number nine, Rickie Lambert.
The summer signing has been bestowed a real honour in being handed the famous shirt, and will have been honoured to speak personally to one of Liverpool's greatest ever forwards.
It was not so long ago that Dalglish, who wore the number seven in his heyday, was leading Liverpool on pre-season tours himself, departing the club in the summer of 2012.
While many of his signings from his time in charge have not worked out, Dalglish is and will always be part of the Liverpool fabric, and supporters fortunate enough to meet him will not be forgetting it in a hurry.
And you suspect, Lambert, a boyhood fan of the club himself, will be cherishing and taking on board everything the Scotsman had to say to him.
