Chelsea player Thorgan Hazard wasted no time replicating his fine goal-scoring form for former loan club Zulte-Waregem with new temporary side Borussia Monchengladbach.
Eden Hazard's younger brother has only just arrived in Germany, on a season-long loan from the Blues. But he opened the scoring in a pre-season friendly against Stoke City on Sunday afternoon.
The game ultimately ended 1-1, with Peter Crouch levelling the scores after sloppy play from Charlie Adam had led to the opener.
Hazard will ultimately be hoping to follow in his older sibling's footsteps at Stamford Bridge, and given his form in recent times, there is no reason not to.
The 21-year-old scored 17 goals last season and set up a further 20. And having already got off the mark for Monchengladbach, there is no reason he cannot be just as succesful in Germany as he was in Belgium.
Chelsea will certainly be hoping that is the case, with the tantalising prospect of two Hazard's both turning out for the Blues increasingly likely.
