All the latest summer transfer news from League One...

Preston North End lost to Rotherham United in last season's play-off semi-final, and manager Simon Grayson has already been busy by bringing in goalkeeper Jamie Jones, right back Calum Woods, winger Kyel Reid as well as forwards Andy Little and Jordan Hugill - but could look for more attacking firepower.

Former Chelsea youngster Milan Lalkovic spent last season on loan at Walsall and hit six goals in a successful spell for Dean Smith's side, but was released by the Blues this summer. Now on the look out for a new club, the Slovakian has been linked with a move to Deepdale as Grayson looks to add help for top striker Joe Garner.

Elsewhere, relegated Yeovil Town have also been busy, with manager Gary Johnson making a number of signings in order to try and get the Glovers back to the Championship at the first attempt. Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Simon Gillett played for the club during their pre-season game against Reading at the weekend, and Johnson says he will continue to get chances to impress if he wants to stay in Somerset.

"We needed that type of player today (Saturday) so we gave him an opportunity to show us what he can do," Johnson said. "If he wants to stick around for a little while longer I'm sure he will get that opportunity to keep impressing. We won't make that decision after a day and a bit. I know him very well, he's played against my teams many times and he's still got something in there that can help someone and it could be us."

Oldham Athletic strengthened their squad with the signing of French defender Timothee Dieng, and now manager Lee Johnson has added two more players. Former Kilmarnock striker William Gros has joined the club on a one-month contract as the 22-year-old looks to impress, whilst Kidderminster Harriers striker Amari Morgan-Smith has signed on a one-year deal to give the Latics a much needed boost in attack.
