Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a swoop for Croatian teenager Nikola Vlasic of Hadjuk Split.

Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a move for Croatian youngster Nikola Vlasic as Mauricio Pochettino mulls over a £3-6 million investment according to reports.

Spurs have one of the best setups in the country for young players, with the likes of Andros Townsend and Harry Kane among recent examples to progress into the first team.

One of Pochettino’s best traits during his time at Southampton was the way he developed younger players to a point where they were ready to play regularly in his first team.

He’s 16-years-old and plays for Hadjuk Split as a right winger.

He’s being commonly referred to in the press as the ‘next Luka Modric’

He’s made a single appearance for the Croatian under-17 side which came against Bosnia.

He was watched by Spurs, Chelsea and Real Madrid in Hadjuk’s Europa League qualifying game against Dundalk, where he scored in a 2-0 win.

His current contract with Hadjuk doesn’t expire until the summer of 2016.
