Liverpool transfer news: Brazilian linked, defender loaned out, £14m move in balance

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Liverpool

Fabio Borini’s £14million move from Liverpool to Sunderland is reportedly in the balance.

The Guardian reports that the Italian is yet to be convinced about making a permanent move to the club he went to on loan last season.

The story adds that Liverpool are keen to push through the Borini transfer before completing their own £8.5million move for Queens Park Rangers’ Loic Remy.

It adds that while the move has not fallen through, Borini is not yet sold on leaving Liverpool for good.

In other news, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Andre Wisdom will join West Bromwich Albion on loan next season.

In quotes published by Sky Sports, the Reds boss said, “He’ll join up with them sooner rather than later and spend the season there on loan.

“That will be another step for him in his development, playing regularly in the Premier League.”

And finally, the Sunday People reports that Liverpool are considering a move for Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto after opting not to move for Michel Vorm.

With just one year left on his contract in Italy, the Brazilian stopper would compete with Simon Mignolet for a starting spot if he arrived at Anfield.
