Arsenal have reportedly agreed a fee for Colombian international David Ospina.

Arsenal are close to completing the signing of David Ospina from Nice, according to reports.

French regional newspaper Nice Matin claim the Ligue 1 club and the Gunners have settled on a fee for the goalkeeper.

"According to our information, OGC Nice and Arsenal have agreed on the transfer of David Ospina.

Colombian keeper is going to engage in the coming hours with the Gunners where he will compete with Wojciech Szczesny. The amount of the transaction is estimated at four million euros."

Ospina started in goal for Colombia at the World Cup, a key part of the side which reached the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Arsenal have been looking for competition for Wojciech Szczesny after FA Cup hero Lukasz Fabianski left on a free transfer to sign for Swansea City.

Ospina will be 26 at the end of August, and has played for Nice since 2008.

He would become Arsenal's third summer signing in a fortnight, following Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy who joined from Barcelona and Newcastle.
