Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Bad news from Redknapp, Spurs enter Griezmann race

A round up of news stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has suggested Loic Remy would prefer a move to Arsenal.

The French striker has been linked with both North London clubs as he looks set to leave QPR ahead of the new campaign.

“I think he really wants to play Champions League - We gave him time off after the World Cup but I think he’s really looking to move. I would be surprised if he was at QPR at the start of the year,” said Redknapp.

The Daily Star has claimed that Tottenham have entered the race to sign Antoine Griezmann from Real Sociedad.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with moves for the winger this summer.

The Frenchman recently turned down the offer of a new contract with the club, which has created speculation he could leave.

Tottenham continue to work on a new contract for Jan Vertonghen according to reports.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but Spurs want him to stay at White Hart Lane.

An upgraded contract worth over £60,000 per week could be put to the versatile centre-back.
