Manchester United star impressed with artwork on show in Brazil.
Robin van Persie's diving header scored at the World Cup for Holland against Spain will live long in the memory.
The beautifully executed goal, has now been immortalised in a unique piece of artwork in Brazil, which has come to the attention of the striker himself.
Van Persie posted a photo of the image on his Instagram page, sharing it with his 870,000 followers with the accompanying message:
"Im very honoured with this art piece in Brazil. Proud to be decorating a wall in Rio. Compliments to the artist!!"
Van Persie is currently on his summer break after admitting he needed a rest after his World Cup exploits, and will return to training with Manchester United at the start of August.
He will join up with his Netherlands boss at the World Cup, Louis van Gaal, who is considering making him captain of the Red Devils.
The pair high-fived after Van Persie scored his sensational header, and will be hoping to create many more memorable moments, which could yet get drawn up on a wall in Manchester before long.
