It is a time of upheaval at Juventus, whether the Italian champions like to admit it or not.
And the club cannot pretend otherwise that the departure of Scudetto-winning manager Antonio Conte will have unsettled star players, including Arturo Vidal.
The central midfielder has been linked heavily to Manchester United over the past fortnight, and the latest news to come out of the club will not be to his liking.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport report that Juventus are in discussions to sell Mauricio Isla to Fiorentina as part of a swap deal for Stefan Savic.
Isla is the only Chilean at Juventus apart from Vidal, an international teammate of his.
In the past month he has seen the club fail to sign his Chile colleague Alexis Sanchez, his mentor and manager Antonio Conte resign, and now his only countryman at the club sold, should a deal go through.
The same newspaper wrote 24 hours ago, that they fear Juventus cannot stand in Vidal's way if the player says he wants to leave:
"As anticipated, the intention is not to give in to outside pressure, but it is clear that the will of the player - also in relation to the technical revolution in progress - can not be ignored."
Juventus have in the last day also missed out on top attacking transfer target Juan Iturbe to rivals Roma, and suddenly the reasons are stacking up for Vidal to have doubts.
Moving on Isla could be a miscalculation too many for the club, and cause Vidal to re-consider his options once more.
