Chelsea transfer news: Luis on his perfect chance, Blues to buy Griezmann?

Stamford Bridge

A round up of transfer stories this morning about Chelsea.

New signing Filipe Luis has described his move to the club as a ‘perfect chance’.

A deal was officially announced yesterday, which sees the Brazilian become the club’s new left-back ahead of the new season.

“I’ve always liked Chelsea, I see a lot of Premier League games - I felt positive sensations and when I got the offer I thought it was the perfect chance to play in England,” he said.

The Express has linked Chelsea with a potential move for Real Sociedad wide man Antoine Griezmann.

The bookies have made the Blues the favourite to land the winger after he recently turned down a new contract at the Spanish club.

However, Chelsea have several options in wide areas which would make a deal difficult.

Chelsea continue to be linked with a potential hijack for Arsenal’s Sami Khedira plans.

Real Madrid reportedly agreed a fee with Arsenal, but his personal terms and the personal efforts of Jose Mourinho could see the German opt for Stamford Bridge over the Emirates.

Khedira played for Mourinho when the Blues boss was in charge at the Bernabeu.
