A round up of transfer stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has denied he’s looking at signing Michael Dawson.
Dawson has been linked with a summer exit from Spurs with both QPR and Hull City thought to be interested.
“I like Michael. He is a top player and a great lad as well. You would have Michael in your team any day of the week, but we haven’t made any offers,” he told talkSPORT.
Spurs are thought to be interested in offering a short term deal to striker Samuel Eto’o.
Eto’o played for Chelsea in the Premier League last season and is thought to be open to staying in England.
The Cameroonian could be a good short term alternative for the club after Jay Rodriguez was offered a new contract by Southampton.
Tottenham are thought to be well in the race to sign Everton youngster John Stones.
Several clubs have been linked with moves for the England star and reports suggest Tottenham can be competitive if they decide to go after him.
However, the Toffees are unlikely to let him leave on a cheap deal.
