United have recently signed a new £750 million deal with Adidas as their new kit supplier.
Manchester United’s new away kit has been pictured being sold prior to its official release.
The photo, taken in a sports shop in Bristol, shows the shirt available to buy for supporters, despite the club not having officially released its away strip.
The shirt is predominantly white with a black collar and has United’s new kit sponsor Chevrolet across the front of the jersey.
United annually release their new home kit each July, and tend to unveil their new away design closer to the start of the new season. The pictured jersey will be the last away shirt designed and manufactured by American sport giants Nike, with United having signed a deal with Adidas from next season.
The new deal is worth an approximate £750million over a ten-year period, making United’s contract with the suppliers the biggest of any club in world football.
The agreement has also seen United surpass Real Madrid as the most valuable club in the world, according to Wall Street. Adidas have supposedly increased United’s worth by another five percent, taking their overall value to an approximate £2.1billion.
Real Madrid were last valued at £1.92billion back in April, but have now fallen behind The Reds thanks to their new kit deal.
United will be hoping that their latest financial success can be backed up by results on the pitch, with Louis Van Gaal having arrived to take charge on Wednesday. They may also want to keep an eye on retailers of their new away kit, as one store will no doubt cash in on what is currently an exclusive product.
