Manchester United kicked off their summer spending with a £29million move for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera.
The swiftness of the 24-year-old's transfer made a mockery of United's long-winded and ultimately fruitless pursuit of a whole host of reported targets last summer. But fans of the club will forget that given that Herrera and Luke Shaw have already arrived and plenty more are tipped to follow.
As some of Herrera's teammates enjoy a well-earned break following their exploits at this summer's World Cup, the former Bilbao player is already enjoying first-team training with his new side.
And on the day that Louis van Gaal officially began his job as United's new boss, heading to Carrington for his very first training session with the Red Devils, Herrera chose to make an unveiling of his own.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, Herrera revealed his new boots, including the now requisite embroidered name, along with the message, 'New country, new club, new boots.'
He will be hoping he scores and creates plenty with them when the season kicks off next month.
