A picture has emerged online displaying 15 new kits in a shop for the upcoming season and one of them appears to be the new home shirt for Newcastle United.
The Wonga-sponsored home strip in Newcastle’s traditional black-and-white vertical stripes has appeared in a sports shop on display alongside new Arsenal Puma kits that were launched just this week.
The Magpies unveiled in May of this year their new 2014/15 away strip but have yet to reveal the designs or the kit officially for their home kit. But this picture may have just blown the surprise if it turns out to be a genuine ‘leak’ rather than a fake.
But the fact it is being displayed along with an Arsenal shirt that was released officially just days ago would suggest the former may turn out to be the case.
Newcastle also happen to have a kit sponsorship deal with Puma, and their sponsor Wonga.com also appears on the shirt in the image.
But it is distinctly different from their home shirt for the 2013/14 season and has many similar design elements to the other Puma-sponsored shirts for Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal, both pictured below the ‘leaked’ Newcastle shirt.
