Dutch right back Janmaat is a confirmed signing, paving the way for the man he replaces to move to Arsenal.
One of the Netherlands national football team's many stars of the recent FIFA World Cup tournament, Daryl Janmaat helped the Oranje secure a third place finish in the competition and, just three days after the Dutch oversaw the host nation Brazil in the playoff round, the right back moved swiftly to his future employers.
According to the Chronicle Live, Janmaat has transferred to the Tyneside club and will cost United £5 million. Earlier today he received a "guided tour" of St James's Park following an agreement that saw him commit for six years.

Janmaat protracted transfer from Feyenoord may now see the exit of Mathieu Debuchy to Arsenal speed-up as the Dutchman was regarded to be Debuchy's natural replacement.
There has, as of yet, been no confirmation from Newcastle.
