Oddworld New 'n' Tasty PSN Store price cut in Europe

Bonus PlayStation Plus content also revealed ahead of Abe’s return next week on PS4

The price in Europe of the upcoming Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty has been dropped, “to ensure as fair a price as possible with regards to the base US price of $29.99," Oddworld Inhabitants have announced

In the UK the game has been re-priced at £17.99 and €20.99 in Europe. This is down from £19.99 and €24.99.

A remake of the classic PlayStation 1 game Oddworld Abe’s Oddysee, New ‘n’ Tasty is set to hit PlayStation as a PS4 download on July 22nd in the US and July 23rd in Europe. The game comes as a cross-buy meaning you’ll also get the game for free on PS3 and Vita when it comes out for Sony’s other consoles.

Oddworld have also revealed that PlayStation Plus Subscribers in Sony Computer Entertainment Europe territories (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Russia, India, Australia and New Zealand) can get access to free bonus content if they buy New ‘n’ Tasty within the first two weeks of sale. An additional level entitled Alf's Escape will become available shortly after the game releases. This is being described as "an all-new area of RuptureFarms containing brand new puzzles and fiendish hazards that'll ensure a fresh challenge for even the most seasoned Oddworld fans, as well as specially recorded dialogue". A Scrub Abe outfit will also be available from day one.

As well as coming to Sony consoles Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty is panned for Wii U, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Linux.
