A selection of the latest stories involving Tottenham Hotspur this Monday evening.
Tottenham were said to be in pole position to sign Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin according to a report in the Daily Express towards the end of last week.
However, the Express is claiming that North London rivals Arsenal are preparing a bid in order to land the French international themselves. Napoli and Borussia Dortmund are also rumoured to be interested in the player.
The Star's story says 'according to reports' - prominently citing a Palace fanzine called Five Year Plan with the report suggesting that Sigurdsson is discussing personal terms with Eagles boss Tony Pulis.
However, the report also states that neither Palace or Spurs have confirmed anything has taken place between the two clubs.
There were reports this morning suggesting that unless the Icelandic midfielder is solved, as well as defender Michael Dawson, then head coach Mauricio Pochettino would find it more difficult bringing in new players.
Plans for Tottenham's new stadium have been given the all clear by Communities Secretary Eric Pickles according to reports.
The club are planning to move to a ground next to White Hart Lane, which is set to have a capacity of 58,000.
Six of Tottenham's Premier League fixtures have been rearranged for television in the opening months of the season.
Home games against Liverpool and Everton have been moved to Sunday, kicking off at 1:30 and 4pm respectively. Trips to Arsenal, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Hull City have also been rearranged. The North London derby has been moved to a Saturday evening kick off, with the trip to Eastlands at Saturday lunchtime. The other games take place at 4pm on Sundays.
