Queens Park Rangers

Nottingham Forest boss Stuart Pearce has insisted his best players are not for sale, amid reported interest in Jamaal Lascelles from Queens Park Rangers and others.

The Rs have reportedly had a £4million bid rejected for the 20-year-old, with Harry Redknapp said to be keen to bring the centre-back to Loftus Road.

However, Pearce says there is 'no chance' at the moment of his star players leaving the club.

"Not in the immediate future," the Forest boss told the Nottingham Post when asked if he has any plans to sell.

"When it comes to our better players, there is no chance (of them leaving) at the minute."

In better QPR news, 36-year-old defender Rio Ferdinand looks likely to be moving to west London soon, with the Daily Mirror reporting that he is set for further talks with Redknapp.

Fulham ended their tour of Scotland with a 2-0 win over Motherwell, as £11million signing Ross McCormack made his debut for the Cottagers.

"I thoroughly enjoyed it, coming back to one of my old clubs, and it was good to be on the winning side," McCormack told Sky Sports News.

"I only joined up on Wednesday so I have only done three days training so I didn't think I would be playing today and then I played 90 minutes so it was a nice surprise."

Another new signing, Kostas Stafylidis, scored in the 2-0 triumph.

Elsewhere, Johnny Heitinga has officially completed his move to Hertha Berlin on a two-year contract.
