Manchester United transfer news: Juve line up £20m Vidal replacement; Zaha in surprise link

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal reportedly hopes to bring in some more big-name signings prior to the club’s pre-season tour.

The Sunday Express namechecks some of the usual suspects, in the form of Arturo Vidal, Mats Hummels and Marco Reus, claiming van Gaal hopes to add at least two more players to his new squad by Friday.

In other news, the Sun claims that Dynamo Moscow want to sign United winger Wilfried Zaha.

It would be a surprise twist in the life and times of the former Crystal Palace star who, it is being claimed by some media outlets, does not have a future at Old Trafford and could be sold for around £7million.

If he did arrive in Moscow, Zaha would join his former United teammate Alex Buttner who recently completed a move of his own.

And finally, the Telegraph claims Juventus are preparing a £20million bid for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho.

It is being suggested the Brazilian would be a replacement (of sorts) for Vidal, who continues to be strongly linked with a switch to United this summer.
