Chelsea midfielder Oscar featured yet again for Brazil on Saturday evening, as the World Cup hosts played the Netherlands in the third-place playoff.
Having been hit for seven against Germany in the semi-final, it was always going to be interesting to see how Luiz Felipe Scolari's side responded. And the truth was: Not very well.
Louis van Gaal's Dutch side won 3-0 with another performance that made it clear just how poor this Brazilian squad is compared with those who have shone at previous international tournaments.
But alongside Neymar and Thiago Silva, the one Brazilian who can hold his head high following the summer's events is Chelsea star Oscar.
Against the Netherlands, the 22-year-old played two key passes and had three scoring attempts (although only one was on target). He also had a passing accuracy of 84.62% and made an impressive 22 forward passes as he sought to drive his teammates on.

But despite the Chelsea man's best efforts, Brazil ended the tournament with consecutive defeats with a combined score-line of 10-1 against. Not exactly what the host nation expected when the festival of football first kicked off.
After the match, we took to Twitter to see what Chelsea fans made of Oscar's performance, and below you can see a selection of what we found:
