Arsenal transfer news: Khedira deal closer, conflicting reports over goalkeeper targets

A round up of transfer stories about Arsenal this morning.

Arsenal are reportedly in advanced negotiations over a deal to sign Sami Khedira from Real Madrid.

The Gunners have reportedly had a £24 million offer approved for the German according to the Metro.

His wages are thought to be a potential stumbling block with rivals Chelsea one of the teams thought to be waiting to see if a deal falls through.

The Metro has claimed that Arsenal have reached an agreement with Nice over the sale of David Ospina.

The Colombian goalkeeper has been linked with Arsenal in the last couple of weeks, with a £3 million fee being mentioned.

Ospina was one of Colombia’s most consistent players at the World Cup in Brazil.

However, Arsenal are reportedly taking another look at signing goalkeeper John Ruddy from Norwich City.

The Gunners were linked with the England international shortly after the end of last season as Arsene Wenger looks to sign a back up to Wojciech Szczesny.

Ruddy is valued at around £7 million according to a report in the Mirror and could be an option if a deal for Ospina doesn’t happen.
