It doesn't take much to get the rumour mill moving and a sighting of Paul Pogba in London intensified the voices linking the Juventus star to Chelsea.
The French international was excellent last season at Juventus and drew attention from a number of top European sides, including Chelsea, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite suggestions that Juventus may have to cash in on Pogba or Arturo Vidal in order to build their squad for next season, the Italian champions have always denied that Pogba is for sale.
However, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is clearly a fan of Pogba and the English press have been suggesting that a £60 million swoop is on the cards.
And the sight of Pogba in the English capital forced the player's agent into issuing a flat denial that he is in talks with Chelsea.
"Everything is perfect at Juventus and there are no meetings scheduled.
Pogba had a mixed World Cup. While he scored in France's 2-0 win over Nigeria and provided an assist in the 5-2 hammering of Switzerland, he was anonymous in a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Germany, so his value will have remained fairly stable during the summer.
While Juventus may not intend to sell, it remains to be seen whether the Old Lady could turn down a mammoth bid if it arrived.
