It was widely understood that Suarez was no longer going to be at Anfield next season - but the confirmation of the multi-million pound move itself will have saddened the Kop.

Indeed, there is no doubting that Ruddy had the rawest end of the deal when Suarez faced the Canaries, with the Uruguayan scoring no less than three hat-tricks against Norwich.
Last season's three-goal offering was particularly memorable, with Suarez showing just what a complete forward he is.
