Former New York Knick star Jeremy Lin has secured a switch to the LA Lakers.
Lin signed with the Houston Rockets two seasons ago, but has seen his anticipated role within the team edged out by the subsequent arrivals of James Harden and Dwight Howard.
ESPN have now confirmed Lin has been traded to the Lakers, who desperately needed to get players signed onto their roster.
The Lakers have traded away a 'future first round pick' to Houston, per the report.
It is the second notable move to be confirmed within hours, after LeBron James earlier today announced he would rejoin Cleveland from Miami.
